A cosmetic service for suitable moles and skin tags that you would like removed for appearance or because they catch and rub. The price is £25 for each suitable lesion.

The appointment is for cosmetic removal only. If there is any concern, uncertainty or reason medical assessment may be needed, removal will not go ahead and you will be referred to your GP.

Each suitable lesion is charged separately at £25. The number that can be treated and the final total are confirmed before the cosmetic procedure begins.

No cosmetic removal is offered when the mark is uncertain, concerning or needs medical assessment.
Before you decide
Cosmetic removal still has risks
Possible effects include discomfort, bleeding, infection, delayed healing, scarring and a lighter or darker area of skin. Pigment change can be more noticeable and may last longer in black or brown skin.
Do not attempt to cut, burn, freeze or tie off a mole or skin tag yourself. Home removal can cause bleeding, infection and scarring, and it can delay proper assessment of a concerning mark.
When to seek medical advice
The NHS advises speaking to a GP about a mole that changes size, shape or colour, or becomes painful, itchy, inflamed, bleeding or crusty. A new or unusual mark that has not gone away after a few weeks also needs medical advice.
