Individual planning
Shape before volume
The consultation separates border definition, central height, asymmetry, hydration appearance and overall volume so the agreed plan reflects the actual goal.
A result image is not a forecast
Lip anatomy, previous filler, product, amount, placement, swelling and healing all affect the final appearance. Consented photographs show one person’s result only.
What the appointment covers
- Medical history, medication, cold-sore history, allergy and previous filler screening.
- Assessment of lip proportion, dental support, profile, movement and surrounding facial balance.
- Discussion of product choice, proposed amount, possible staging and expected swelling.
- Written consent, photography only with permission, aftercare and urgent-contact instructions.
Possible planning routes
Conservative border or shape support where anatomy and tissue allow.
Measured volume placed with the upper and lower lip relationship in view.
Asymmetry or previous filler may need review, dissolution referral or more than one appointment.
Early swelling is not judged as a final result; review timing is explained with aftercare.
Risks and recovery
- Swelling, tenderness, bruising, temporary asymmetry and palpable product can occur.
- Infection, cold-sore reactivation, nodules, migration and vascular complications are discussed before consent.
- Severe or increasing pain, colour change, cool skin or visual symptoms require urgent contact.
- No result is guaranteed and further treatment is never assumed automatically.
