Two different goals
Active acne and established acne scarring do not automatically receive the same treatment.
Inflamed, painful, cystic, sudden or medically complex acne can need GP, pharmacy or dermatology input. Aggressive microneedling is not carried out over active infected or heavily inflamed lesions.
